First Reconciliation & First Eucharist Registration
Who is this program for?
All baptized 2nd grade students of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and their families. We believe in forming the whole family to become a Eucharistic home. Students and at least one of their parents will participate in our formation program and families are encouraged to walk this journey together with their 2nd graders towards receiving Jesus, in the Eucharist, for the first time.
When you complete the registration form, you acknowledge the following:
- Your family are registered members of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish OR have expressed written consent from your pastor to participate in our program.
- Your child must have completed the 1st-grade religion program at MBS or another parish/school (verification required).
- Parent(s) commit to attending Sunday Mass with their child and be joined to the parish in common worship and as members of the Body of Christ.
- Parent(s) commit to attending the Parent Sacramental Preparation Meetings for Reconciliation and Eucharist on the specified sessions on Sunday mornings in St. Ursula Hall (see schedule below).
- Parent(s), as the first teachers of the Faith to their children, commit to studying/reviewing the materials provided with your children. It is important that parents accompany and encourage their children in deepening their faith formation.
2025 - 2026 Sacramental Preparation Registration Instructions
- The cost of our program is $40 (to cover the books and retreat materials) to be paid upon registration online.
- CLICK HERE to register your child for our Sacramental Preparation Program for 2nd graders.
- Baptismal Certificates: If your child was NOT baptized at MBS, we will need you to provide a copy of your child's baptismal certificate upon their first day of classes.
- MBS School Students will begin PART of their formation at school in the classroom however will be required to attend special Sunday sessions along with one of their parents in the fall and spring (See parent schedule below)
- Non-MBS School Students will participate in our regular Sunday classes (following the normal PSR calendar) and at least one parent will join them on our special Sunday sessions of our program in the fall and spring.
