Youth Ministries

Youth in grades 9-12 are invited to participate in Abide High School Ministry. Check out the "Youth News" in the bulletin or follow us on instagram.com/mbsyouth or www.facebook.com/mbsyouthministry for information on upcoming Abide events!

This ministry is committed to assisting the priest during liturgical services. This is open to boys and girls from 3rd grade through high school. All those who wish to become an altar server must attend and complete a parish training course.

Scouts provide programs for boys which follow the procedures and guidelines of the national scouting program directives.

Challenge is a club for 5th through 8th grade girls to grow in virtue, friendship, and their Catholic faith. Our weekly club meetings are led by our high school team leaders and include games, activities, gospel reflections and apostolic projects.

Conquest Club is a national network of leadership programs, clubs, and camps for boys and young men ages 5-16. Conquest trains boys to become self-disciplined and confident young men; Catholic leaders who possess moral integrity and are committed to improving the communities in which they live.

Programs for girls which follow the procedures and guidelines of the national scouting program directives. 

Parish School of Religion (PSR) provides catechesis and faith formation to the youth of our parish.  Classes are offered for Kindergartners through 12th Graders.  PSR also prepares young people and their parents for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. There is also a Rite of Christian Initiation for Children (RCIA).  Please contact West Giffin, Director of Christian Formation, for more details about becoming a PSR Student or an Adult Volunteer.
