Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Exposition and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is a means of focusing the heart and mind in prayer, with attention fixed on the mystery of the Eucharistic presence of Christ in church.

Altar Servers
Assist priest at liturgical services. Open to boys and girls from sixth grade through high school. All servers attend parish training.

Altar Society
Ladies in the parish who have great pride in maintaining and preparing the altar for services. They also purchase specified items and share in spiritual, service and social activities.

Athletic Association
Provides adults and youth the opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills and the Christian way of life through intramural sports.

Blood Drive
Participation in the parish blood drive enables parishioners and their families to take part in Our Lady of the Lake blood assurance program.

Boy Scouts
Programs for boys which follow the procedures and guidelines of the national scouting program directives.

Catholic Daughters of America
Court Divine Mercy #2318 - Serves the parish and community through active support and participation in charitable works. Parochial, diocesan, state and national levels. Open to Catholic women age eighteen and older.

Council of Education
The MBS Council of Education is an advisory body to the Pastor and the school Principal, established to support the school in the areas of policy and planning. Members are appointed by the Pastor.

Elizabeth Ministry
Ministry is based on the example of The Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth. Its focus is to respond to the needs of women during their childbearing years. Support, speakers, spiritual and social events are shared.

Eucharistic Ministers
Men and women in the parish who assist the celebrant with the distribution of the Eucharist. They also bring the Eucharist to the homebound. All Eucharistic Ministers attend parish training.

F3 - Family-Fun-Fellowship
Ministry with focus on family activities with children, toddler through eighth grade.

Finance/Pastoral Council
Council advises Pastor on matters relating to the financial management of the parish in keeping with Church law. Also offers advice on matters of pastoral policy and planning. Membership by appointment.

Girl Scouts
Programs for girls which follow the procedures and guidelines of the national scouting program directives.

Good Timers
Adults 45+ gather for social and spiritual activities.

Grounds Committee
Supports the maintenance of church and school grounds through volunteer yard work.

Habitat for Humanity
A non-profit ecumenical Christian housing ministry which seeks to make decent shelter for those in need. Volunteers are needed to help in the construction.

Home & School Association
An organization of MBS Scvhool parents that supports the school through service and fund raising activities.

Hospitality
Responds to the needs of hospitality in the parish when called upon for special activities. Also reaches out to the bereaved by providing food.

Knights of Columbus
A national fraternal service organization open to all Catholic men age eighteen years and older. Provides assistance for the work of the church and the community through family support and the spiritual development of its members.

Lectors
Catholic adults who proclaim the Liturgy of the Word at Sunday Masses and on Holy Days and other liturgical services. Open to all adults eighteen years and older. Lectors attend parish training.

Men's Club
A service and social organization for all men in the parish. Provides a variety of projects for the parish, school and community.

Music Ministry
Serves the worshiping community with music for liturgical celebrations. Includes Cantors and instrumentalists, adult and children's choir.

Nursery
Cares for parish children during all Sunday Masses. Ages twelve months to three years.

Parish Fund Raisers
Golf Tournament, Ten-Thousand-Dollar Raffle, Auction and Fair. All proceeds are divided equally between parish and school.

Preschool
Provides age appropriate activities and enrichment to foster the social, academic and physical development of children two to four years of age.

Religious Education - PSR
Parish School of Religion provides catechesis and faith formation to the youth of our parish, kindergarten to twelfth grade. PSR also prepares young people and their parents for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. There is also a Rite of Christian Initiation for Children.

River of Life
A Catholic charismatic prayer group for men and women who meet to share in praise, worship and intercessory prayer.

RCIA
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. A process of conversion focused primarily on those belonging to a non-Catholic faith, but seeking information on becoming a Catholic. The process begins in the Fall and concludes at Easter.

School
Most Blessed Sacrament School - Grades Kindergarten to Eighth - ministers to the educational needs of the parish by providing a teaching atmosphere which promotes gospel values and academic excellence for the students.

Scripture from Scratch
Men and women gather to study scripture through prayer and stories.

Social Responsibility
Reaches out on a regular basis to those less fortunate in the parish and community. Responsible for Thanksgiving and Christmas programs for those in need.

Tabulators
Parishioners tabulate (count and record) parish collections for Sunday Masses and special collections.

Ushers
Men and women help with the orderly flow of the liturgy during Sunday and Holy Day Masses. Assist wherever needed to help the congregation feel welcome and comfortable.

Vacation Bible School
A summer program for children (Preschool through fifth grade) sharing our faith through story, art and activities.

Vocations
Assist the parish and diocese in promoting religious vacations through prayer and special programs.

Youth Ministry
The focus of this ministry is to help young adults grow in their faith through fellowship, service and spiritual activities.
